Volunteer dentists treat DDS patients in their own offices where they can work more efficiently with their own equipment, supplies, and staff.

In each state at least one program coordinator is responsible for determining that applicants are either disabled, elderly or medically compromised and have no other way for paying for dental care.

* Licensee programs exist in states where the NFDH licenses another organization, usually the state dental association or their charitable organization, to operate DDS.

** National DDS programs assist people in states where sanctioned programs may not exist.

For information about a specific DDS program or programs, please click on the appropriate state.
Purple States have individual DDS programs,  green states were served through the National DDS program fiscal year 2006-2007.

Jon Meade

My name is Jon Meade, my family of 6, now 7 as of yesterday moved from Richmond Va. to Prescott Az 3years ago. We moved just for Mountain Oak School. MOS is a charter Waldorf school, we were in a private Waldorf school in Richmond Va. for 6 years, the school started at $2000 a year per child and within 5 years was at $7000 per student, with no end in site. We found out about Mountain Oak charter(free) School and liked what we saw, so we moved our family. Every year a handful of families move to Prescott AZ from all over the country for a free Waldorf education, as well as many local families.

MOS is 9 years old now and we need a source of funding in addition to the state funding that we presently receive, so we can have a FULL fledged Waldorf program and stop having to rob peter to pay paul. As you all know, Arizona is dead last in per pupil expenditure in the whole country, so I guess that ther is nowhere to go but up. If anyone would like to help 167 local students in Prescott Az. please feel free to contact me or us, so we can discuss the possibilities.

THANK YOU!

Jon Meade
